Training/Pet Sitting

I first met Fran almost 5 years ago . A friend told me about a friend of hers that used Fran to train her dog Sly. She told me Fran was not only a trainer but a dog sitter as well . Fran came to my house and in a matter of minutes Fran had her sitting and behaving herself. Well, we sure learned a lot about training - all with kindness. Since then Fran has been to our house many times to help train Oreo and me , and to care for Oreo when we are away . Fran is a wonderful trainer and someone I really trust with my dog and in my home. I only wish I knew her when I had my Miniature Pincher. Linda Molinaro

Hi, my name is Mollie. When I was a puppy my mom and dad enlisted the services of Fran as my trainer. She taught me how to behave. And when my mom and dad go on vacation, Fran takes me in. me, yelling only makes him crazier. I've tried that, big mistake. But tasty treats and lots of good boys have a great effect. We're not perfect (yet), but we're getting there. My husband Steven and I had the pleasure of working with Fran with our black lab, Gus. We decided to start obedience training when Gus would not walk past a certain "scary" house on our road. But as the sessions progressed, we learned that there was so much more we needed to work on with Gus. Fran was patient and kind throughout the whole process. She listened to all of our questions and concerns and guided us on how to help Gus overcome his fear of the "scary" house. Obedience training was one of the best decisions we've made, not only for Gus, but for ourselves. Now when people ask, " Is it safe for you to walk your BIG black lab being 5 1/2 months pregnant?, Doesn't he pull you all over the place?" Abby has calmed down considerably thanks to your help - we even had my brother and his family staying here with their 3 kids (11, 9 and 2) plus a friend of the 11 year old's, and Abby was wonderful! Our neighbor up the hill behind the house wondered the other day if Abby was all right, since she is not barking as much as she had been. We have been concentrating on our first set of lessons and have not done the positive vet visits yet, and while Abby had a lot of practice with strangers coming in and out of the house, our relatives weren't ringing the doorbell, and we should practice that. Oh! And for the first time in a LONG time, I was able to give Abby her "Frontline" treatment without trauma. What a relief! Thanks again for your help. - Martha A. Wellman

Being a Spanish Water Dog some things like retrieving a ball in the water come very

We came to Fran to teach our dog, Honey, how to behave better and learned that we were the ones with the behavioral problem!! Some things we’re too lazy to change but others have improved enormously. Mostly we learned how Honey thinks and why she behaves the way she does so we all get along famously now. Another great benefit of working with Fran is that we were introduced to Flint River Ranch.
